i am sitting outside of a quizno's.
clearly, nobody read this. bro
i found it unreadable and had no thoughts other than to characterize it as forced self-indulgence. didn't comment because i wasn't sure if there was any point to do so.
eatabowlofdick.com loser
I want to spraypaint "xanga.com" on buildings.
Tao, what do you "think" about the "old adage" that writers need to be writers "secondarily," to go out and do "something" so they'll have "something" (different sense now) to write about, as well as an empirical basis for evaluating "stuff"? Or could I just get a place in New York and eat tacos?
@anonymous
some people like to read writing about people who eat tacos as written by people who eat tacos
some people like to read writing about people who are in a war as written by people who have been in a war
some people like to read writing about people who eat tacos as written by people who have been in a war and also eaten tacos
some people like to read writing about people who are in a war as written by a people who haven't been in a war but eat tacos instead
some people like to read writing about [anything] as written by people who [anything]
some people will like to read different kinds of writings at different years in their lives or different days within those years
if you want to write what a certain person will like then ask them what kind of writing they like and if it's 'writing about people who have "real jobs" as written by people who have "real jobs"' then you can get a 'real job' and write about people with 'real jobs'
if you want to write things that are [abstractions like 'great' or 'canonical'] then either study what the current consensus on what those words mean is, until you feel satisfied with your degree of accuracy re [aforementioned consensus] and then write in the manner that will 'satisfy' whatever the word you studied 'means,' based on your study
it seems like anyone can write whatever they want to write
