This is horrible.
This is a horrible interview.

"This book's not doing it for me"
"It's shallow"

Jesus.

"You'll either love it or hate it"
"At the end of the day..."

Jesus.

'stranger than fiction TV' is a stupid name

what is strange about book reviews

and you're only reviewing fiction anyway

this isn't TV

there's already been a TV show 'stranger than fiction'

it was a documentary show because the cliche is about 'fact' and documentaries have a lot of facts

you are implying your reviews are facts

but mostly you just use relativistic cliches

'stranger than fiction TV' is a stupid name

i'm confused. what is 'deconstructionalist, minimalist' literature? is that what you get if you tried to write like carver after having read derrida's grammatology. think that would be a pretty 'messed up' book.

'but then again,' if it's not shakespeare or joyce it's not good 'cuz they're like super genuises or something and the only ones who give james wood a boner, and that's what it's all about 'after all'.

'lol'@'all my dead writer homies'

wow. andrew's voice makes me want to eat rocks.

i love how he needed to spell out your name. T-A-O L-I-N. psh, that wasn't degrading or offensive or anything...

i love how he can't even hold up your book. i mean, it is pretty heavy.

i feel like he made you sound like some sort of lab rat.

i feel like he's a major douchenozzle. who is probably secretly some sort of white supremacist. who probably still takes fashion advice from his mother.

really bad review, god awful

he didn't talk about anything people haven't already talked about

he looks like an asshole

the camera is so far away

the other books he mentions are totally different from tao's book and not to mention they are 50plus years old.

the amount of words he used, without actually saying anything, sort of reminded me of the book he was reviewing.

how... ironic.

When he says 'masterpieces," I think he means 'codpieces.'

Elise is 'tired' of 'masterpieces.'

The review aside, his view of literature appears very 'flawed.'

Maybe he was a business major, or something.
