found 'ancient' edition of james purdy's 'color of darkness' in 'cure for cancer' thrift store, purchased for 25 cents / 'fuck america' stickers

i think 'color of darkness' is out-of-print, its amazon page seems 'fucked' 'big time,' i posted a story from 'color of darkness' on muumuu house, i think out-of-print things can be circulated 'freely' if the author 'has died,' or something, seems complicated; a previous 'james purdy blog post' can be read here (since that blog post james purdy 'has died')

maybe i 'miss' video games, not sure

should i 'play' diablo III a lot when it 'comes out,' putting things on ebay that i 'find on the floor' after 'slaying' certain 'monsters,' typing things like 'do you want to buy anything else right now to avoid paypal/ebay fees, i will be happy to show you my inventory' upon meeting my ebay customers in the world of diablo III

should i

'fuck america' stickers have arrived and can be purchased here, view 250x here; might be funny if people 'adhere' 'fuck america' stickers to UPS trucks, ambulances, police cars, or select 'ben & jerry's' locations

think my favorite videogame was a pc game called 'balloons' where you'd click on a white screen and a colorful circle would appear and grow bigger if you held the mouse down. i think there was a comic 'sliding' music sound as the circles got bigger. if the circle got too big it would disappear and make the other circles ('balloons') disappear. i think the sound got comically high-pitched if you were 'pushing the limits of the balloons'. i'm pretty sure the circles couldn't touch.
i think there was a kangaroo in the logo.

that or wario land 2.

I think, with copyright, after the author dies it goes to their next of kin or "estate" for like 60 years or something. Then after they have been dead for 60 years the work becomes copyright free.

That Sign Statistics page is impossible to read.

Hey Tao,

I've always enjoyed your writing but wasn't planning on buying Shoplifting From American Apparel because I never thought of you as a real person, but as a contrived media persona designed to evoke feelings like: This guy is super deep/super lonely/utilizing writing as a way to cope with modern alienation. But your passing mention of Diablo 3 has humanized you to such a degree that I will proudly purchase Shoplifting when it comes out. Maybe it is because liking a game like Diablo doesn't match the aforementioned always aloof always miserable persona I presumed you were trying to convey, but whatever. I see the error of my ways. I am going to buy the shit out of your novella/upcoming novel when they are released, and when Diablo 3 comes out in late 2010/early 2011 I would love to kill various kinds of hellspawn with you on the internet. What class do you think you would like to play as? I know I'm going with either the Monk or Wizard.

Also, gonna buy a fuck america sticker. I think I'll put it on my car so that the people behind me at stoplights can know my opinion on things.

for one purchase of "fuck america" stickers, you could buy 20 copies of
"color of darkness," if the store somehow had 20 copies of "color of darkness."
