"Detachment" is my favorite.
I would play your online text based RPG. I think you go well with the genre.
this is great.
Good job.
tao, you are really off the deep end
i mean i luv ya pal, but you are rally somethin
alex, i played it, i didn't make it
if you thought i made it
hopefully the mad increased "mad hits" of 2012 signal the removal of the distracting a.a. body parts from this otherwise satisfying and engaging blog.
but it might have something to do with your continued abandonment of piano lessons.
do you remember the 1st thing you ate?
it might be a stretch to remember.
maybe mine was breast milk, i'm not sure. i feel like my mom couldn't breast feed me or something. i will have to ask now.
but then again, that should be considered 1st thing drank.
but any consumption of food is eating right?
Conclusions:
- Learning the piano leads to severe depression.
- The older one gets, the lower and less sure one is about their self-esteem OR teenagers are cocky assholes.
- Activities like playing the piano and writing are good substitutions for human interaction and can detract from the feeling of loneliness.
- Steady cash flow => Mad hits? Mad hits => Steady cash flow? Hm.
john updike is dead guys.
Rabbit is Dead =/
this is not very professional looking
oh, i guess i didn't pay enough attention.
if i ever come into large amounts of money i'll hire you to write an rpg for me.
2012 is more everything but asshole?
that's pretty good going i guess
everyone must have something to work towards
i like this graph, i made a graph like this once, but just about how happy i was in different months of years.
it seems like you feel like less of an asshole when you are not involved with piano lessons.
acceptance and meaningless rates correspond. as do loneliness and severe depression.
I think you should make one of these for a bunch of other writers.
Also, in the NYT Updike Obituary by Michicko Kakutani, she calls him "blogger-like." I would call this a "breakthrough" in your career.
em, yes, if i get enough mad hits perhaps microsoft or something will sponsor me
sarah, probably a mushroom or something
jon, foreign rights sales = steady cash flow, i think
tomhanks, i would like to see a graph by you of the easter parade
or anything really, yeah just anything, on your blog
catherine, oh, good, i wonder how old michiko is now
seems like she could be anything between 30 - 80
at first i thought '80' seems like i was 'just joking' but then i thought 'no, i really do feel she could be 78 or 79'
i laugh at this. but i am going to make a cuter funnier more interesting overall better chart. i like the idea of CHARTS and GRAPHS
I think, i just found this and it's great, you would like Kathy Acker's Pussy king of the pirates. though i am afraid maybe you're female.
nice chart
i am inspired to make a graph now
I wouldn't be afraid if you were female, Tao Lin, even though I might pay you a certain percent less if you made a graph of yourself for a PowerPoint presentation for my company.
But then I would get sued I hope.
But then I would get sued I hope.
i look forward to your graphs amidreaming and tomhanks
steve, are you going to pay me to do that, if so email me, thank you
your "asshole" is shrinking!
seems like pink circles should be bigger
i made a graph
y axis happiness
x axis amount of doritos
then i started drawing it and i thought yay im gonna be happy forever but no i instinctively drew a log curve and then i drank gatorade all day and felt bloated
