this is a good review, written in your way, which i enjoy a lot.
i bought a copy of "the loser" awhile ago and completely forgot i did it, but now i know what to read from my shelf.
"This book was enjoyable," he said, I thought, as I was sitting in the winged-back chair. "I read it last month," I thought as I was walking into the inn. "How many books can someone write that repeats a single phrase every other line," as I was sitting in the winged-back chair, he asked, and I thought, "at least two."
"I liked them both," a friend said, I thought.
i like 'the loser' also, i liked it because it felt funny when he talked about glenn gould, i think, mostly
good job catherine
