german 'eeeee eee eeee'

this is the cover of the german 'eeeee eee eeee' (february 2009, i think), i have been told that the message on the boy's back, on the back cover, will be 'a surprise' and that 'gute laune' means 'happiness'; the translator is 'stephen johann kleiner,' the editor is 'eva-marie hippel,' the art is by juju's delivery, the publisher is dumont

GERMAN EEEEE EEE EEEE, GUTELAUNE

i look at the cover and think things like 'i feel calm,' 'it looks like the cover of a novel that is a beautiful novel,' and 'it looks like the highest rated role-playing game on super famicom in terms of overall presentation and industry impact as determined by the leading gaming magazines of japan in a 2040 retrospective' and 'it looks like it was designed by a young, iconic designer from an early period in the history of the lost continent of atlantis,' i like the cover

Tao, I really want to be on good terms with you. Please take time out of your busy schedule to reply to my email. Or just post here why you are ignoring me. I have not even proposed yet. So you have no reason not to reply.
Is it Miller Time for you too? If you hate, dislike or am indifferent towards me, you will like the things you dislike, hate or am indifferent towards.
i will wait for you forever.
i like you new cover. please reply to me. you are my hero, tao. i eat mcdonald's nuggets just like you do with lots of packets.

ok.

either way, my brain working harder is a good thing. it's like exercise. i felt like i was exercising during the part about the game from 2040 or something.

not really. just, maybe it's good to work hard so that other stuff seems easier.

does tao lin look and act like cho seunghui to anyone else? they both wrote crappy poems about "insane killing rampages" and there's that shit that happened in finland. is anyone else concerned that tao lin is going to go postal?

why did they change the title of the novel, i don't get it

am i being stupid

Blogger Tao Lin said...

the decision, somewhere in germany, was made to change the title to 'gute laune,' i don't know the process of thoughts that happened that caused this

i think 'roman' means 'novel'

tao lin looks and acts so much like cho sengheui and that finland kid its truly disturbing. is nobody else out there concerned about this????
we have our eye on you mr. lin.

please respond and reassure us you won't go crazy. why is tao lin associating with germany and has a friend named german unless tao lin also obsessed with hitler and nazis like those columbine kids? is tao lin the next danger?
this is serious so please discuss this.

maybe a lot of german people haven't seen 'flipper', or gone on vacation in florida and swam with dolphins, or maybe aquariums are scarce in germany so they decided to down play the emotional significance of the dolphine and american's simplistic imitation of the dolphines vocal compacity.

dottie kee bones, if they send me a lot of copies of it i will send you and other people one who want one, if i'm still 'rich' at that time

miles, yes, perhaps, i think 'eeeee eee eeee' inside the novel translates to 'iiiii iii iiii,' maybe they thought that would be confusing or something

thank you brandon

ana, i am glad you like the cover
