I don't like to read interviews but I am reading a couple of yours to see what has been done and I just e-mailed that planet you mentioned. Also, plain wheat pasta. Food of champions.
I do read interviews often and I was shocked to see (in the Bookslut one) that you were 23 and went to NYU. First of all, congratulations on the book deal. Second of all, did you take any creative writing classes at NYU? Did you ever come across any zines called "Xenophobia" or "Honey I'm a Prize and You're a Catch and We're a Perfect Match" or "Autointoxication" or "Horse Power" or "Uck Ar" or "He wins all the marbles"--I was featured in all of these I think (not sure about 'marbles') but I just found it potent that you mentioned how you liked to publish all your friends, because that's basically what we did while at NYU. anyways i know we have a very kind of strange school spirit + community, but it is encouraging to see someone close to my age (i graduated may 2005)succeed at the level i want to succeed at. you give me hope, and for that i am happy, and i will read eeeee eee eeee....
